Tea set designed for enjoying tea outside
Bottled green tea is very popular all around the world because it means people can drink tea wherever they want. However, when people drink tea directly from a bottle, they can not enjoy the aroma of the tea or get the feeling of a relaxing tea time. To make the experience more enjoyable, Hiroyuki designed a tea cup and hand bag based on the color and textures evoked by the flavour of the tea. People can put a bottle of tea and a book in the bag and go and enjoy their tea time outside, for example in a park or in a garden.

Colors
The colors represent the taste of the tea and their ratios show the impression of each taste sensation. The blue shows the first refreshing, smoothness of the tea. The green colors show the slightly bitter, grassy taste which follows the smoothness. This is the main taste. A little yellow and orange shows a hint of sweetness. The brown and pale green indicate the bitter acerbic flavour which lingers on even after swallowing.
Pattern
When people pour the tea into a cup, they release the rich aroma. It contains bitterness, greenness and acerbic flavour. The aroma of the tea is an essential part of the green tea because it increases the expectation of the taste.
The patterns show that the tea includes several mixed flavours. They are used on the front and back of the bag and on the cup.
